For those of you that do not know, Jon "Vermont" Hughes was hit by a car Sunday January 13th, 2013 when crossing the street to see a friend. He was taken to the hospital and immediately brought to the Intensive Care Unit, he was not breathing on his own, and after many tests it was determined that he had no brain activity. Many of his close loved ones were present and were able to say their goodbyes while his biggest attribute, his heart, was still beating. Jon was the tour manager of MADBALL, while touring with them he touched many life's and made many friends around the world. He was an amazing human being, Son, Brother, and newly an uncle to his beautiful neice. Truly the most genuine friend to any of us, and it showed with the immense amount of love shown during this time.

      Jon had no health insurance so as you can imagine after being in the ICU for 3 days on Life Support there was a hefty hospital bill left to his mother. She needs as much financial help as she can get at this time, please support a good cause. You will also get a hug from any of his roommates if you do donate just ask and you shall receive, but there was truly no hug like a JVT hug.
