We are a group of six extremely driven and passionate filmmakers working on our latest short film. Our campaign is to raise as much money as possible to fund the production of our 15 minute short 'Adam's House'.
Any contributions of any amount would be an enormous help and extremely appreciated by each member of the crew. We believe we've got a great script, we just need some support to make the story into a reality.
'Adam's House' focuses on the relationship shared between an emotionally unavailable Father and his adolescent son; exploring how a difficulty to communicate love and convey passion can, if left unaddressed, be passed from one generation to the next.
Set in the north of England in 1981, the film is centered around Peter. At the age of 18, Peter has developed a look and lifestyle similar to many young men of that age - and it doesn't sit well with his father. His long hair, attitude towards work, discipline and respect, as well as his proposed career as a musician anger his father (48 year old ex-servicemen and factory worker, Adam).
Adam regularly says that he cant wait until the army gets hold of Peter, for then they'll make a man of him - as happened to him during his youth.
What We Need & What You Get
Since this project is set in 1982, the vast majority of money raised would be used for art direction and wardrobe. This film includes a cast of seventeen with eight characters and nine extras so another thing we shall be using any money raised for is the cast and crews' expenses.
If we don't reach our goal of £500 any money will still be used for these elements listed above. We have set up some 'perks' if you'd be kind enough to donate:
Adam Raised A Pound: We'd be so happy with £1 to go towards our film, and would give you a big thank you on Twitter.
Adam Raised A Fiver: This would be an amazing contribution to our film! We'd give you a big thanks on Twitter and a special thanks in the credits of the film.
Adam Raised A Twenty: You're a massive help! We'd give you a big thank you on Twitter, a special thank you in the credits of the film and a copy of the film on DVD.
Adam Raised A Hundred: You have no idea how much this contribution would help us in the production of this film. We'd give you a big thank you on Twitter, a special thank you in the credits, the film on DVD as well as being listed as 'executive producer' in the credits.
We're aiming to enter this film into national and hopefully some international film festivals. In the past a film some of our crew have worked on has been nominated for a student Royal Television Society award. We're really keen for the world to see this film so its distribution is one of the most important factors for us.
Other Ways You Can Help
Obviously some people might not be able to contribute to this film so we'd love for you to help in other ways! The Indiegogo share tools enable you to share our campaign via social media networks so this would be a fanastic help for us to get our campaign seen.
