Short Summary

Jamie D. Hamilton and Wezley Parker are ready to be the next big movie stars.  They're not ready for any of the real-world scenarios that come first.  

This is a (hilarious) new web-based series that follows the day-to-day of two (misguided) aspiring actors (movie stars) as they navigate their way through the Big Apple and learn what it really means to dedicate your life to the pursuit of your passion.

Antonio Thompson, Alex Taylor, and Julia Blauvelt are the brains behind the operation.  The series features Antonio Thompson as Wezley, Alex Taylor as Jamie, and Julia Blauvelt directing.  Check out our bios for all the sweet creds we have.  Or read on below for our heart-felt plea.

Help us make this series, and you'll be a huge part of the next big thing.  We've got competition plans (and cult-following plans), but who knows what could happen?  We love this story, these characters, this idea.  Heck, we think it might even speak to our generation on a deeper level than just "it's a show about actors who ignore real life!"  But we need you to find out if we're right.

What We Need & What You Get

Here's where we break it down for you.  Ready?

• We're asking for $4,000 in order to make the best-looking, best-sounding pilot we can.
• Your contributions go directly toward the following:  equipment rentals, cast and crew compensation, craft services, post-production, and festival fees.
• We doubt there's any other campaign out there that offers the kind of weird, personalized, awesome rewards that we do.  Since Julia, Alex, and Antonio all bring different skills to the table, the perks are structured around the unique ways we can share those talents with you.  And some of the perks are structured around us buying you drinks. 

The Impact

The bottom line:  we believe in this series.  We've got our first season mapped out (as much as an improvised series CAN be mapped out - who knows what will happen...!) and all we need are some generous somebodies to help us breathe life into it.

• We want this to be a group effort.  We'd love to know that this series has built a community of support around itself - that in itself is truly the most valuable thing.
• We believe in our talent.  Julia's past web-series, Scene of the Rhyme, was an official selection at the 2012 Beverly Hills T.V. and New Media Festival (Julia acted and produced), while Alex and Antonio have established themselves as working actors in NYC with numerous T.V., film, and theatre credits under their belts.  We love working at what we believe in.  In fact, we love it enough to create a series that makes fun of it.
