Let's make a new album!
The Crux (http://thecruxmusic.bandcamp.com/releases) has been spending the past couple months writing music for a play with the Imaginists Theatre Collective (www.theimaginists.org). The play is called The Ratcatcher, and it is a reimagining of the Pied Piper legend. It has been a great experience to work with an acting ensemble, and the songs are great!
We want to record an album of us playing these new songs, and we need your help! The Crux don't have a record deal, and off-beat, collaborative projects like this need community support in order to happen.
What We Need & What You Get
We need to raise funds in order pay for the people, equipment, and space necessary to record an album. There are lots of costs involved in getting a team together to record, mix, and master quality recordings. We also need to produce the CDs, which is a chunk of change as well. It is going to take at least 8000 dollars to do this. The more we raise, the better the final recordings will be!
We are offering lot's of fun stuff to folks who support the project. Would you like an exclusive song? A Crux singing telegram? How about a homemade musical washboard? Take a look at the perks that we are offering on this campaign, and get yourself something nice!
If we don't reach the goal, it is okay. Indiegogo still lets us keep whatever funds we are able to collect. So give freely, knowing that it will be going towards the cause!

Indigogo lets us raise over our stated goal. If we can get ten thousand dollars, than we will record a special 4-6 song EP and give it away free to all of our donors, at all levels! Let's go above and beyond!
