IF YOU KNOW BEC AND LAUREN, YOU KNOW THAT THEIR LOVE IS IMMENSE.

When Bec’s engagement ring got stolen two weeks ago, our first reaction was one of anger and voo doo dolls.  Bec and Lauren’s reaction was true to who they are: although devastated, they turned their thoughts to how they could put more good things into the world in reaction to the bad.

Bec and Lauren’s love is inspiring, and this ring was a precious symbol of that.  It got a few of us to thinking how we could live out their vision by flipping something terrible into something wonderful. We want to get this ring back for them.

The amazing part of this story is that Lauren used all of her winnings from Wheel of Fortune ($3,000) to buy this ring for Bec.  Lauren got to fulfill her since-a-kid-dream of spinning that wheel, and propose in a Coney Island photobooth with a ring shaped like a wave with a yellow sapphire.

Although the ring is gone, we are a community brought together by our love for these two.  Let’s show them that what they believe to be true in the world is true: we can make something amazing come out of something terrible.
