Do you believe in magic? In a young girl's heart? How about two girls' hearts? And a fairy godmother? Like Musicals?
Well, YOU, my friend, are in luck!
A Fairy’s Tale is the story of two young girls who race against time to save an orphanage from an evil real estate developer who also happens to be the girls’ stepmother! Assisted by their fairy godfather, the girls’ race to a gala event in order to find an alternate investor. Along the way, they meet two angry security guards, a frog prince, and furry woodland creatures! This parody marries traditional 2D animation with live action, in the style of Roger Rabbit & Mary Poppins, in order to display magic and fabulous creatures!
We are making this film because this is a story that needs to be told. We are set on telling it, not only to prove to others it can be done, but also to ourselves as we are passionate about making film. This passion for A Fairy's Tale sets us apart from other projects because we are completely focused and disciplined to work towards our goals and make our film.
This film is a compilation of all that we have learned while at Tribeca Flashpoint Media Arts Academy. Though we have accomplished so much so far we still need to raise the funds to make our goals a reality. This film is the final project before we graduate and we would like to be able to show what we as students are capable of.
"I wake up every day in awe of what we have accomplished so far and cannot wait to see everyone's hard work pay off in the end." -John Plamann
Daily Wicked Newspaper:
This is the newspaper within the film that we have adapted to give you a unique way to see what all went into the production as well giving entertaining stories about life in a fairy tale world!
The Impact of A Fairy's Tale
The impact that A Fairy's Tale will have on cast and crew is huge. This film will be the corner stone of our time spent at Tribeca Flashpoint.
We have a lot to do for this film to become what it should be and we will only be able to do so with your help. Though there is always the possibiiity of us not getting the funds we need to create the film we have told you about, do not doubt the fact that one way or another this film will be made.
