WE'VE COME SO FAR!!!

We've transformed this dilapidated old warehouse in the hills of Umbria, Italy:

Into the thriving, international Academy of Art, Creativity and Consciousness:

We have created a Center for the Arts - and something more... The Academy of Art, Creativity and Consciousness is using the Arts to transform culture and consciousness. We are building a hive where artists and creatives from around the world can come to learn and share, explore and collaborate. 

Together we are pollinating the future with new energies, ideas, and ways of being. We have a unique approach; we use all the modalities of the Arts as vehicles for Awakening to Life - recovering the passion, potency and authenticity of the soul.  

The doors opened on September 1st, 2012, and we're already hosting world-renown artists, teachers, musicians, authors and speakers. We worked hard to finish the construction of the interior and exterior of the building...

BUT NOW WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!

Winter is coming, and in order to keep the creative juices and activities flowing, we need to finish the building!

Most importantly:

BRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!

    • Purchase and install a heating system so it is possible to continue hosting Academy courses, workshops and events during the fridgid and snowy winter months.

    • Purchase and install wood flooring for dancers and dance programs, theater productions, and sound control (the space has amazing acoustic potential but desperatly needs the buffering of the finished floor).

     • Weatherproofing, insulating and sealing cracks, gaps, holes, etc for the coming winter.

    • Furnishing the Academy with tables, chairs and art supplies for art courses, concerts, theatrical productions, community events, and tons of other fun things!!! 

Who We Are: 

Founding director Dana Lynne Andersen MA is a luminary in the field of art and consciousness, pioneering the use of art as a catalyst for awakening consciousness.

For over 25 years she has offered unique "Transformative Arts Method" that uses all the modalities of the Arts as vehicles for awakening higher consciousness, and she has taught and exhibited on three continents. As the founder of “Awakening Arts”, an international network of artists committed to the creation of uplifting art, Andersen has founded several "Transformative Arts Studios" in the United States (Colorado and California). At the Academy of Art, Creativity and Consciousness, initiated in Italy four years ago, she spearheaded a certification program in the Transformative Arts Method. Dana received her bachelor’s degree cum laude in Philosophy, and her Master’s Degree in the Study of Consciousness from John F. Kennedy University.

The Academy is situated next to an international yoga tetreat center that draws thousands of guests from around the world, near the 'City of Peace" (Assisi, Italy) that draws millions of pilgrims.  We are bursting at the seams with people, energy, and programs that are ready to go - from weekend workshops with globally renowned artists and visionaries, to exhibitians, film screenings, an after-school arts program for our local school, community gatherings, concerts, kirtans, & much more.

The Academy is a living artistic hive for an international community of Creatives whose mission is to inspire and uplift human consciousness.

Our center is a place of connection for the emerging field of 'Art & Consciousness' a gathering place for artists and creatives of all modalities: painters, potters, sculptors, musicians, dancers, poets & playwrights - artists of film & multi-media, artists of sound, light & vibration, social artists and creative entrepreneurs ~  all sharing a common vision of using the arts to transform culture and consciousness.

CLASSROOMS: Our classroom will serve as a welcoming and nurturing environment for people of all levels to express creativity.  Everyone can discover the ‘Power of Creation.’

• At the Academy, students with no experience or "talent" work alongside practicing artists, together discovering the joy of the inexhaustible fountain within - the Fountain of Creativity, which unleashes a vitality that reinvigorates our lives.

GALLERY: The gallery portion of our Center will serve as a nexus for an international movement of vanguard artists.

• We support ‘Troubadours of Transformation’ who are using the modalities of the Arts to awaken the higher potentials of humanity.

STUDIOS: We will offer space for creative exploration and production to resident artists and visiting artist programs.

• In the heightened state of creative flow, insight and revelation stream through...we become vehicles for transformative power.
