My short film was selected for the American Film Institutes’ Directing Work Shop for Women. The AFI program provides free workshops and some equipment but the participants have to raise their own budget of up to $25,000 to make the film. My film shoots 5 days in July 2010 and completes post production in August. This project is very close to my heart having had a great grandmother in a nursing home and close relationships with all my grandmothers. For donating to my film you will always know that you helped me make a young woman’s directing dream a reality and also the chance to show Hollywood that people like films with female stars over the age of 22!
