Dear friends, adventurers and movie-lovers,

The 2-1-0 team and I are very happy with the outcome of this campaign. We raised over 80% of the required budget. 459 of you have made it very clear – this film has to be made! The difference between the sum of all contributions and the overall costs will be bridged by a silent investor. We will continue to work hard on the film and will do everything we can to make it an awesome watching-experience.

Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for your trust, your contributions and the countless, encouraging comments. It would have been impossible to make this film without you. You are fantastic!

Forever grateful,
Daniel and the 2-1-0 team.

Daniel rode his motorcycle around the world for 2.5 years, surviving only on the money he made along the way until he found what he wasn't even looking for. His story is unique, unplanned, and dives deep into foreign cultures. There was no support team, no film-crew, no sponsor and no budget to buy his way out of tight situations. Being a filmmaker -it goes without saying- he documented his journey with his camera.

With this crowd-funding campaign, WITH YOUR HELP, I'm hoping to get the opportunity of making this film with the same freedom that I have felt living through the experience. This is an invitation to see the world through my eyes, when I was 'wearing' those countries, as opposed to just passing through them. Yours, Daniel

The story taps into current feelings of unrest, disillusionment and disconnection felt by whole generations of young people throughout the western world. It's about having the courage to follow your dreams, no matter how crazy they seem, and what you can accomplish when you stop trying to control things and let go of your fears.

We believe that first-hand experiences with foreign cultures and beliefs will contribute to our world by helping society become more understanding, tolerant and peaceful.

If you agree to that, your pledge will directly help creating a product which will ultimately inspire others and promote the above idea.

We want to be absolutely transparent as in to where your contribution goes. We have covered 85% (136.000 Euro) of the production cost already. Please help us come up with the last 15% for post-production. Here's our cost sheet.

If we reach our goal of $ 33.000 we will be able to offer you a fantastic movie that we are sure you will enjoy watching. This is a "flexible funding" campaign, because we are determined to finish this movie. We have spent too much time and effort to quit now. So even if we don't reach our goal, we'll do everything we can to create the best product possible.

21/10/12 NEW PERK !

HD Movie-Dowload + Charity

Select this perk, pledge $100 or more and 50% of whatever amount you contribute will go directly to people in need. And you get to experience how your donation helps.
I will travel from Argentina to Alaska starting in 2013, I will be coming through some poor countries where people fight for survival every day. I will immerse myself into their world, video-report about it and YOU get to choose what cause or group of people your donation will go to.
This is direct, transparent and you get to see the impact with your own eyes! Let's help those who need help – together. Check out this short clip of where some of you and I helped Nepali orphans to pay off their dept and have a Christmas.

To show how serious I am about making this film, here is a special proposal!

I am offering my bike Marianne. She one of it's kind. She's 30 years old and still going strong. She's been to the highest motorable mountain pass in the world, she's been 500m under sea level (Dead Sea in Jordan), she's survived snow, ice, extreme temperatures, flew over sand dunes and made it through months of monsoon rain. She only let me down once in the 15 years that I own her. And that for good reason. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't have experienced that I was supposed to have experienced. I am very grateful to have her as my loyal companion.

I asked her and she wants to come along on the Argentina–Alaska journey with us. However, she said that if someone wanted to give an extraordinary amount towards the making of the film, she'd be willing retire early.

What do you think?
