Synopsis: There are 8,000 Liberian refugees living in the Projects of Staten Island, New York. This October, after fourteen years of civil war, most in the community have to go back. Jacob Massaquoi is trying to change that. Having survived multiple attempts on his life, Sweet Liberia, follows Jacob as he tirelessly helps his community to stay in the U.S.
