Synopsis: THE HUMBERVILLE POETRY SLAM, a short mockumentary film, parodies a small town's efforts to build a team with eyes set on the glitter and glam of the National Poetry Slam.
When an experienced poet sets his sights set on victory at Nationals, he
organizes a local slam to find four poets who will help him represent the town and capture the title of Slam Champions. What he finds is an oddball cast of Humberville locals more than willing to unleash their poetic talents on stage.
Shot in the style popularized by Christopher Guest's mockumentaries, THE HUMBERVILLE POETRY SLAM reveals how poetry fever hits even small towners, bringing out the inner bard in all of us.
