Synopsis: blow US up! is a celebrity driven feature documentary where hip-hop and current events collide. Texan rapper Paul Wall and his Vietnamese cohort “TV” Johnny Dang journey into the past in order to see the future: in Iraq, Texas and Dang’s homeland, Vietnam.
The Second Iraq War is the hip-hop generation’s Vietnam. To understand how they got here, they will have to discover where they’ve been. Following in the tradition of the highly acclaimed Bling: A Planet Rock, blow US up! uses the medium of hip-hop to engage and enrage a whole new audience with the story of two American wars, a generation and musical genre apart from each other.

What makes blow US up different?
"blow US up!" is the only film, aside from "Bling: A Planet Rock" that will look at war—specifically the Iraqi and Vietnam Wars, respectively—through a hip-hop lens. Starring superstar rapper Paul Wall and his partner TV Johnny Dang, the film will, along the way pose questions: Can America learn from its past? Can hip-hop, a culture under attack for its glorification of violence, be a tool for peace? Will the performers care to shine a light on the continuing pain of the Vietnam War, an omen of things to come in the land of ancient Babylon?
