WHAT MAKES THIS PROJECT DIFFERENT

Popcorn (formerly "In the Theatres, On the Shelves, and Off the Wall") is a weekly movie review and film history show that seeks to be more than the traditional guy-in-a-movie-theatre review. Oh, sure, the host will sit there and talk at you, but you'll also see some comedy, a cartoon or two, and we may discuss some intellectual property issues now and again. It's a review show about movies from a dedicated movie freak.

Woo-hoo! We’ve hit Episode 5 this week – it premieres tonight (August 6) on Heritage TV, and will go to the web on Thursday. Last week was our online launch, and you can see that episode now at http://www.vimeo.com/1447801
We’ve been getting some attention for our recently-added animated segments, and the general production values are on the way up. Our previous fundraising goal was set up for episodes 2 and 3, so we’ve changed that – now it reflects the need to upgrade our production equipment. This required adding some perks and increasing the price of others, since we’re not talking about $500 for two episodes any more. But your donation will go to see that this rapidly-growing show will become the best it can possibly be. Thanks for stopping by, and keep supporting independent media! |

The good news is in! The first episode of In the Theatres, On the Shelves, and Off the Wall should be making its premiere on Heritage TV next Wednesday at 9:00! It will repeat several times on Thursday, and may make an appearance on the weekend schedule, as well.
And further good news, Heritage TV has granted permission for the series to be released online, as well! So the series will be aired locally and available globally. |
