I began my career within the world of short fiction, writing and directing several short films before expanding into the world of documentaries and commercials.
My primary focus is narrative, character based pieces, whether it be comedy or drama. My comic work is generally of dark humour, pushing the boundaries of what people expect to see in the film medium and my non-comedy work tends to concentrate on more social themes.
My shorts and commercial projects have screened in festivals in over forty countries including screenings in major festivals such as Short Shorts Tokyo, Cork and Raindance. My shot documentary, 'The City with a Dirty Face' recently won 'Best Short Documentary' at Abu Dhabi Film Festival and was nominated for both the Anthony Minghella award in Hull and Best Short Film at the East End Film Festival.
