PANGAEA is an animated comedic adventure that crosses the prehistoric continent, exploring its dramatic changes and landscape through the eyes of Simm, a quirky, primitive primate-like creature, called an adapid.

Because of a drought, pirate adapids have seized control of the limited water sources and hiked up the prices, so all the common adapids are driven into poverty. Simm encounters a small dinosaur, named Gobi, who is being held captive by the pirates. He discovers Gobi is carrying a map to an ancient treasure, which could help save Simms people. When Simm decides to help Gobi escape the pirates and pursue the treasure, he is swept away into an adventure with his two uncles, Burt and Bartlebey across the prehistoric features of the land. As they descend through the dynamic rock faces of the Grand Staircase-Escalante, Simm discovers that the movement of the tectonic plates and the cycles of nature hold clues to finding the treasure. Simm learns that the earth is trying to change, but a mysterious force has locked the continents together. As he unravels the secrets of Pangaea, he realizes he holds the key that will unlock the treasure and bring an end to the drought. With the pirates hot on Simms trail, a climactic race to the center of Pangaea erupts across the desert in a rampage of giant dinosaurs.
