Once Upon a Time... (The Story)

Hey everybody!  


If you're looking at this page, weve probably shared a drink, a bed and/or a crisis.  (What?  Kidding.  I hope.  Am I pregnant again?  FML.)  Either that or youve been reached by one of my link/forward-happy friends.  If so, welcome!  I now love you as much as I love them, with the fire of a 1,000 suns.  BURNING LUVVVVVV.


Anyways, dysfunctional hyperbole aside, this has been quite the year.  I quit a stable job, and left my friends, family and home of 33 years, all to start a new life here in Tokyo, Japan.  I finished up "Japanese Satellites," my 7th studio album.  I hired a manager.  And I started turning Japanese (or so I think so).


Although Im having an amazing time over here, I miss you all bunches and am eager to reconnect during my first ever West Coast tour!  Preparation is coming along nicely, but I definitely need your help!


Since all of you contributed in one way or another to making Japanese Satellites a reality through your generous donations, can I count on you to help make this tour a reality too?  With your help I can live the dream of bringing 80s flavored folk-pop to every major West Coast city from San Diego on up to Vancouver!  


Where the Money Goes 

1. Plane ticket - $1,500 (While boat travel is cheaper...)
2. Car rental - $1,060 (As much as I love Amtrak...)
3. Gas - $840 (Eek!  Thank goodness I won't drive a Hummer)
4. Music equipment rental - $1,000 (Equipment breaks, venues don't have P.A.s, etc.)
5. Lodging - $1,480 (Hoping to lower this cost with couch-surfing but just in case...)
6. GPS - $120 (Trust me, without it Ill end up driving into the Pacific Ocean) 

Whens the Deadline?
