OKAY PLACE follows health inspector, Hector Spector’s, perilous journey into a shitty diner aptly called An Okay Place To Eat. The diner is owned by Colonel Jeremiah Jessup, who, in a failed attempt to relive his shattered childhood, has hired his childhood heroes as wait staff. Aside from dodging Hector Spector, The Colonel must manage his washed-up staff, avoid Jesus Christ, his suave landlord, and solve the mystery of who left the gooey white blob on the diner floor!
It’s a 2-D animated pilot that combines the craziness of Spongebob with the adult humor of South Park. We have awesome talent backing us such as R. Lee Ermey (Sgt. Hartman from Full Metal Jacket), Jim Cummings (Disney’s The Princess & The Frog…& “Darkwing Duck” himself!), and Scott Adsit (30 Rock). Our animatic & voice records are done, we’re just trying to get a little extra funding for the animation stage. So help us get this awesome show off the ground!
