What makes nicholasgray different?
I don't know if it makes me "different" but my focus is on trying to strip a story down to its most basic elements. Things are most fascinating to me in their simplest form. I like to throw away the parts that are solely ornamental so we can look at beauty underneath.

| I will be embarking on a new non-profit venture soon in response to my participation in a discussion on autism at the United Nations. I will be doing some fundraising here at IndieGoGo, so keep your eyes peeled. Menatime, please watch the two new video clips for more about what I will be embarking on. |

| I'm directing Gregory Marcel's one-man story-schpiel "Burning My Dreams To The Ground". Greg is a burgeoning talent who has had small roles in big films (e.g. The Good Shepherd), big roles in small films (e.g. Sunkissed), with TV work (Guiding Light, Sex and the City) and off-Broadway plays in between. The play is an hour long celebration of failure in all its forms. This is the quote I give about it: "It's the love child of Spalding Gray and Denis Leary. It might be the funniest thing I've ever worked on in any capacity." For anyone in the New York area, the show will be doing a one week workshop March 26-30 at The Michael Weller Theater in Hell's Kitchen to tune up for a potential Fringe Festival run in the summer. Tickets and more information are available at www.BurningMyDreams.com |
