( Watch the trailer above in 720p for best quality:) )
"Nerve" is an independent feature film about a gu
y who battles his anxiety issues with the help of
a female psychology student. He winds up with a lot more than he
bargained for.
First $2,000 This will be enough to acquire a computer capable of complex editing as well as exporting a feature length film done with the 4k RED ONE camera, as this one is. The current computer we've been using to edit is a 2009 mac mini and just doesn't have the capability.
$1,500 This would cover the costs of buying coloring and audio software. Old versions of Final Cut Studio would do the trick.
$2500 We have about 10 songs in the feature, of which no rights have been secured. At premiumbeat.com, it costs $250 per song for unlimited theatrical rights.
$500 We'd like to hold a few screenings. One is the premiere, the others are for industry people.
$500 DVD duplication. We'll need hundreds to submit as screeners when submitting to distributors as well as festivals.
$500 Festival submissions.. The big ones often have submission fees from $50 on. The first festival we have our eye on is the Austin Film Festival which has a fee of $60.
We know money is tight, which is why we are grateful for even $1 contributions. But if you contribute more, there will be plenty of perks for you, besides a tax deduction since this is a fiscally sponsored film. If you donate $250 or more, you'll receive a glossy photo of the poster signed by most of the cast and crew and personalized to you! We have 10 unique originals remaining. You may see a "mediocre" pic of it here: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=58449&...
