Currently a Communications Consultant, Video Director/Producer, and
Educator, Heather Gwaltney has 15 years of experience in the business
and non-profit sectors, and has been practicing fine art and still
photography since she was a child. In addition to being an Adjunct
Professor at George Mason University, she has administered programs and
projects for a number of organizations - designing and implementing
marketing, educational and web strategy plans. Heather has delivered a
variety of organizational assessments, training sessions, and
interviews, and has written numerous newsletters and success stories.
Additionally, she began producing video five years ago, and continues to
use it as a way to communicate about relevant social and environmental
issues. As a video Director/Producer, Heathers work includes
documentary, Ageless (currently in production); and advocacy videos No on Fast-Track Commission, The American Promise, Scrap the Cap, The Voice of Women, and Social Security: A Cornerstone of Americas Future.
Her previous work also includes short documentary, Talking to the
President; What is Livability Project?; the mocumentray, News That Tells
You Nothing; Art & Disabilities in the 21st Century; and teacher
testimonial, Failure is not an Option. Furthermore, Heather has
experience managing teams and vendor relationships. She holds a Master
of Science in Organizational Development, a Bachelor of Arts in
Psychology with a Minor in Business Administration, and is Permaculture
Certified. Heather resides in Washington DC.
