I’ve had the fortunate opportunity of playing many strong young women, and I’d really like to keep this lucky trend of mine. I’d like to simply because its important. I grew up watching all these amazing films, as well as reading stellar pieces of literature about boys and men embarking on epic adventures while their “women folk” stayed walled up in their gilded towers pining for their knights to come rescue them. I never found that fair. I am not a delicate golden rose that wilts in the slightest gust of air. Furthermore, I want all women and girls to know that neither will they.

Our hearts are fiercer than any man’s, our desires and strength unmatched by any other and we should have the right to fight for what we want and love.
I am a pirate, a soldier, a knight, a king, a dragon, and a siren all in one. and if my mission statement should be anything it should be a firm commitment to portray women exactly as that without exceptions.
