What is this all about?

It is both about independence and interdependence.  The old days of record labels and their big budgets are long gone.  What's a band to do? 

Mr. Meeble has been doing all that we can do creating music and videos, marketing ourselves and connecting with fans all over the world for the past 3 years.  All without a label, management, or agencies.  All on a shoestring budget.  If you are unfamiliar with our art, check us out on YouTube or Soundcloud.

In the summer of 2010, we decided to organize a European tour for 2011.  With no booking agency, we turned to our fans.  We started messaging them and asking about venues and promoters.  Our fans were more helpful and valuable than ever - giving us thousands of contacts!  Incredible!  Artists and fans are more interconnected now than ever.

Now, in July of 2011, the tour is nearly completely booked and we are recording a new EP to release before the tour starts in September.  Everything is moving forward, but now, more than ever, we need your help.

Organizing an international tour is EXPENSIVE!

Most of the funds needed for the tour have already been generated - but we came up a little short.  In order to make this tour a success, we need to raise at least $5000 to cover all kinds of promotional expenses:  design costs, t-shirts, posters, artwork, sending out press releases to European media, promotional materials, and advertising.  Even if we only raise a portion of our goal of $5000, it will help ensure that this tour is a successful one and properly promoted.

What can I do?  I'm broke!

If you can somehow manage to donate $2, thank you.  If you can't even afford that, you can help by sharing this campaign with your friends.  Post it on your Facebook, your Twitter, your Tumblr, your blog.  Post it anywhere!  If you CAN afford to donate at least $5, you'll get something back in return - whether it be some of our new music or a Meeble inspired dinner party,  :)

Unexpected turn of events:

Aug. 19th - One little bit of bad news  For the past year weve been planning on borrowing a friends car to transport us and our gear for the entire tour.  Well, as of 3 days ago, that fell through (no pun intended) leaving us without any transportation for the tour.  We now must lease a van for 2 months, which costs $4500 USD.  This obviously is a setback, but not an insurmountable one. All this means is that we need you to help us spread the word now more than EVER!

UPDATE:  We've lowered the prices on the most expensive perks!  Now anyone can afford a private LASER engulfed house party or a meeblishous dinner party...


Regarding t-shirts:  We will have several designs and several sizes of shirts available.  If your perk contains a t-shirt, you can chose the one you want at a show along the tour.  If you can't make it to a show, we will ship the rest out when the tour is completed.
