The Record

Comprised of songs written over the last 3 years, this album will be Matthew's first full length release.  Listeners can expect a contemplative and regularly upbeat mix of songs about family and relationships.  The project will feature young local players, arrangers, and technicians.  

With veteran producer/engineer Susan Rogers and up-and-comer Alex Prieto taking the creative and technical reins, Matthew is now free to exercise his songwriting.  His strong melodic and lyrical sensibility meets Rogers' rhythmic prowess and Prieto's passion for engineering and mixing in what the trio hopes will be one of this year's memorable independent records.

Production: $2000

Engineering: $3000

Players: $3000

Arrangers/Programmers: $1000

Disc Pressing + Download Cards: $1000

Funding Sources

$6,000 - private investment

$4,000 - indiegogo fundraising campaign

This campaign is intended to cover only the cost of Players and Arrangers/Programmers.  Money raised through indiegogo will pay local instrumentalists, arrangers, programmers, and other technicians for their contribution to this project.
