My name is Matt Stockalper. I’m originally from Dallas, Texas, where there’s an abundance of live theatre and little opportunity for those interested in film work. So I had a decent career going as a stage actor, being too young to be taken seriously as a director. Eventually that led to an interest in writing, then all forms of storytelling. It was at the age of 17 that I began taking my hobby seriously and branching into digital filmmaking. And it took several odd jobs for me to realize that I’m not satisfied doing anything else.
