born in the bayou city of houston, tx, mark aaron sharon ('mas' to his friends) has been intrigued with the human condition since he was first pushed in the sandbox. rather than push back, he asked, 'why?' somewhere between chasing fireflies and swatting mosquitoes, mas learned to push back at the psyche. his films, stories, etc reflect an urgent need to understand but then, finally, falling short. just within grasp, but miles away.
