Logline:
At the end of the 19th century two strangers from opposite sides of a Texas border engage in a battle for justice and salvation.

Synopsis:
“The year is 1899. The recent discovery of mercury in the deep recesses of the hot Texas dessert has created a migration boom from neighboring Mexican border towns. CLARET ZAPATA, a young Mexican woman burdened with a dark secret, and CHIP FORD, a rebellious and reluctant cowboy, collide at the Rio Grande in the mining town of Terlingua, Texas. She is in search of a mysterious man who works at Mariscal Mine; he is ready for freedom and adventure. The two form an unlikely bond until Clarets dark secret is revealed and Chip is faced with making a life altering decision.”
