Im on an intense journey to establish myself as a respected filmmaker. The next phase of this journey is a short film, Love Like Hers, that I will be writing and directing.

Im planning on shooting this in spring/summer this year and $8,000 would help me achieve the level of production that I believe would get my work noticed within the industry and at film festivals.

Love Like Hers is a tragic love story centered around one womans fight to be with the one she loves, despite her fathers determination to get in the way and end what they have together – with some shocking consequences.

Money raised will go towards film equipment, a small micro crew, actors and post production facilities. This project will be filmed using the RED camera and Im pleased to have an experienced and extremely talented DOP confirmed. I also plan on attracting two named actors for the main roles In the film as well as hiring a talented and experienced editor with post production facilities to edit the film.

As an entrepreneur with years of experience running a business, I have the skills to be able to keep costs extremely low through determined negotiations and even get my hands on equipment and crew for free in some cases.

My last short film project, Angel of the Night, was made on NO budget. The film has since received lots of great feedback and has been a fantastic starting point for my filmmaking career. This next project however, will be in a totally different league. This next project WILL be my calling card, thats why it is so very important I get what I need to make this short film and deliver my vision onto the big screen.
