My Story

Hello, my name is Tiera Nicole.  I would like to first say thank you for showing an interest in my campaign.  You will never fully understand what this means to me. I am an up and coming writer/director/producer and theatre trained actress.  The Love Sex & Baggage concept initially started out as a web talk show idea last year and has evolved into this wonderful masterpiece that I have spent the past nine months working on.  I have plans to further take some of the stories from the book and turn them into short films to be submitted to local, regional, and national film festivals; and your contributions can pave the way for those goals to come to fruition.

This book is NOT your grandma's love story.  It is thought provoking, jaw dropping, erotic and intense.  From the first few pages, you will find yourself sitting on the edge of your bed with anticipation to see what happens next.  This book highlights the challenges we all face in relationships but set in situations that may be unconventional  to some.  As an artist, I pride myself on thinking outside of the box and I hope you will join me outside of it as well.

Excerpts From the Book

The book is broken down into three chapters; Ch. 1- LOVE, Ch. 2- SEX, and Ch. 3- BAGGAGE, and every story within each chapter directly relates to the chapter title.  For a little tease of what you have to look forward to, I've included two excerpts from the book.  The first excerpt is from the LOVE chapter and the second one is from the BAGGAGE chapter.  The SEX chapter is just too juicy to give away. :)

LOVE IS BEAUTY

"We said our last goodbyes to the lingering guests and walked to the valet to retrieve our car.  I hadn�t realized how sleepy I was until I snuggled into the passenger seat and Larry started caressing my leg.  Although we only had about a thirty minute drive home, I closed my eyes and decided to enjoy a small cat nap because I knew once we got in the house, Larry would pounce all over me and I would need all the rest I could get.  I had just nestled into a good sleep when I heard the tires of the car screech and I jolted out of my slumber just in time to see a tree collide with the front of our car.  I don�t recall an impact but I do remember hearing my name being screamed over and over.

�ZAHRIA! ZAHRIA! BABY CAN YOU HEAR ME?!! PLEASE ANSWER ME BABY!! I�M SORRY BABY! ANSWER ME PLEASE!�

I finally came to and screamed out in agony as the pain seared through my body. �Larry,� I whimpered weakly.  �I can�t feel my legs. I can�t feel my legs.�

�It�s ok baby. It�s ok.  Hold my hand,� he reached out his bloody hand and grabbed mine. �Help is on the way.  It�ll be ok. It�ll be ok.  Just talk to me, Zah,� he said through tears. �Zahria?! Zahria?! ZAHRIA PLEASE SAY SOMETHING! Please don�t leave me! I�m sorry!�

In order for any of this to happen, I must raise $8,000 for this campaign.  Here is how it breaks down:

$3,000- Production of the Book (cover design, text layout, binding, printing, and ebook ISBNs & uploading)

$5,000- Promotional/Marketing Tools (website, book tour/release party, advertising, etc)
