Le Story

Louis is one of those dads who never quite grew up: a scruffy Breton who spends most of his time at the local bistro, hes never taken anything too seriously. But when his ?fteen-year-old daughter Charlotte is forced to move away to Paris with her mother, Louis finds it difficult to imagine his life without her. 

Given one last day to spend with her, Louis tries everything he can to send his daughter off with a smile. While he struggles to dodge his job and console a fifteen-year-old who feels betrayed, Louis comes across a large amount of money that could solve all his problems but could also be his undoing. 


Set in a small French coastal town during the winter, Lolotte is an intimate character piece about the last day a father and daughter spend together. 


Who We Are 

"Lolotte" is the second international co-production between NYC's Buffalo Picture House and the UK's Organized Chaos Film&TV. Our team is made up of some really terrific folks including producers Michael Beddoes, Edel Kavanagh and Gabrielle Nadig as well as Writer/Director Felix Thompson and cinematographer Brandon Roots. Together they have made films that have picked up awards and screened at some of the most prestigious film festivals around the globe.

What We Need & What You Get

Making a film ain't a cheap, but that doesn't mean you can't try to save a few bob! The budget for "Lolotte" has been carefully constructed and most of the crew are donating their time, equipment and labor. But there are still a few expenses that that need to be covered. Your donations will go directly towards covering things such as:


- Food (we dare you try working 12 hour days with nothing to eat!)

- Transportation

- Equipment Rentals

- Location Fees

Other Ways To Help Out! 

Okay so we know it's hard out there and not everyone can spare the dosh. But if you can't even spare $5 then all we ask is that you please spread the word about the film. Why not make it your facebook status? Tweet about it? Call your grandma and tell her about it? ANYTHING! Literally all of those things will take you 5 seconds (except for the grandma phone call... that should take longer), so why not do them now? Like right now?
