We are a group of young filmmakers that grew up in small towns from all over California. Our talents range from writers, directors, editors, music composers, actors, producers and cinematographers. As small town guys, we’ve always dreamed big and that is our common bond.
LEFT HANDED PICTURES began as an idea to produce a short film in Las Vegas, NV. Writer/director, EDER DIEGO had only known writer/actor, BUCKLEY ACOSTA, for a month before they met up in vegas for a week to shoot a short film that had only been written two weeks prior to their first face-to-face meeting in the desert. With only one crew member and two actors, the short, BERTH OF A HITMAN came to life and with it the idea to start a new production/film company: LEFT HANDED PICTURES.
Now, with the help of a handful of new and old friends, LEFT HANDED PICTURES is re-writing BERTH OF A HITMAN and is set to be shot in the fall with a budget and better equipment.
