Lauren Paige Patterson graduates in May of 2009, with a degree in musical theatre from Ouachita Baptist University. A native of Rockwall, Texas, Lauren has performed in many theatres throughout the Dallas metroplex.
Some of her favorites roles are: Ms. Hearne/Dancer in “Damn Yankees” at Casa Manana, Amy March in “Little Women” at The San Jacinto Project, Jemima in “Cats” at the Richardson Repertory Theatre. Lauren’s theatre experience in college includes playing Anne Frank in “And Then They Came for Me” and Sally in “Kids Say the Darndest Things” while a freshman at Oklahoma City University. Upon transferring to Ouachita, Lauren played Lucky in “Waiting for Godot”, Jo/Bee/Alex in the one-act, “China Men”, Kitty in “Watermelon Boats”, Miranda in “The Tempest”, Spirit #2 in the opera, “The Magic Flute”, Seths Wife in “Children of Eden”, Miss Dorothy Brown in “Thoroughly Modern Millie”, and Marie Leroux in “Is He Dead?” The role of Marie Leroux garnered her a coveted Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship nomination at the ACTF Region VI competition.
With numerous years of vocal, dance, and theatre training, and a Bachelors degree, Lauren plans to continue her passion for the performing arts in California pursuing a career in TV, film, and musical theatre.
