THE SERIES:

KILLING ALL THE FLIES is a scifi-mystery-thriller series with a compelling and a fast paced storyline coupled with nail-biting incidents and great emotional impact.

 

The series is about the story of a 23-year-old police cadet LEVIN, who wakes up soaked in blood next to his dead girlfriend MARIE. Levin loses the love of his life and is injustly accused of her murder. Helpless in the face of overwhelming evidence, Levin escapes his arrest in order to find the real murderer. The only lead he has are the results of his girlfriends research, who was a journalist. What he finds is overwhelming: Hes confronted with a conspiracy on a scale he couldnt ever have imagined: A corporation that sells eternal life to wealthy clients at the cost of innocent people. The VIGOR-Corporation has succeeded in bypassing death with the help of an ingenious trade system.

 

Levin realizes now that he and Marie obviously have become victims of the VIGOR-Corporation. However if there is a possibility to overcome death for the corporations clients, vice versa there must be a way to get his girlfriend Marie out of the hereafter and back to life.

At this point Levin is ready to take any risk: He declares that hes not going to stop until he has reversed all the corporations death-trades and brought his love Marie back to life. By the time Levin understands his enemys full power, it is already too late. He is trapped in a fight and it is a matter of life and death.

 

As the series goes on Levin and Marie realize that the answer to the question Who deserves to live? is neither black nor white.

We are passionate filmmakers from Germany. Some of us graduated last year, the others will finish film school in 2012. All films you have seen in the SHOWREEL have been produced by Alena Jelinek or Judith Schll or directed by Hanna Maria Heidrich. We have a strong vision for our project and a great love for filmmaking. Furthermore we are proud to say, that we all have won international awards in our respective fields before, such as:

 

The Cannes Young Director Award for Best Film School, Best Branded Short and the Special Jury Prize 2011. The Silver World Medal at the NY Film & Television Festival 2010. Germanys most important up-and-coming talent prize: The First Steps Award, The German Camera Award, The Karl-Steinbuch Scholarship of Innovations and many others. Furthermore our work was featured at the Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors Showcase in Cannes 2010 as well as the NGDSC in 2009, 2010 and 2011.

 

WHAT WE NEED:  

Though it is our diploma film project, "Killing all the flies is  a high-end production. We want to shoot our English language pilot by the end of the year in Germany. As it is a great challenge to turn our hometown into an authentic major US city, we need your support! With a fully financed budget, we can provide a higher production value, through more days of shooting, a bigger crew, better equipment and locations. Besides a good script, this it what makes a good movie!

Furthermore we need your support especially to shoot some special scenes like:

*Underwater scenes, which visualize Levins travel into the hereafter (1500$)

*Two days in a hyper-modern Office Headquarter of the VIGOR Coorporation (500$ - 1500$) 

*Furthermore there are two to three mass scenes with a lot of extras (2.000$)

*Were going to shoot some action scenes, which require support by a stunt team (1000$)

*There are a couple of night shots in our film. For those well need extra money for lightning (6.000$)
