| jose somoza's Role: José Somoza is the founder & artistic director of Grupo Folklórico Talpalli, one of the performing grouops featured on this show. HIs goal is to spread Mexican culture through dance. Focused on youth, the members range from four to thirty years in age. They’ve performed in many venues from schools (principally in the San Francisco Bay Area city of Hayward) to television programs. They do dances from 12 different Mexican states including Jalisco, Sonora and Chihuahua. |
