Josefina Hatton was raised in a farming community just outside of Rigby, Idaho. She was born to a father of Welsh/English/Irish decent and a Philippine mother. As a tomboy, she rode her first snow machine when she was 5. Soon after, she was operating three and four wheel ATV’s, jet skis and finally dirt bikes. Her experience with firearms won her awards in skeet-shoot and target competitions. Her first job consisted of operating a front loader and a manure truck to spread sunshine on the fields of spudland.
Josefina became interested in acting her sophomore year at Rigby High School. She gave an outstanding performance as Jo in Rigby’s Senior Production of “Little Women”. This garnered her recognition among her classmates, but she wanted more. After graduating, she moved to Utah where she appeared in many theater productions throughout the Salt Lake Valley.
In 2005, she debuted in a supporting role for “The Bug in the Bathroom” (2009). Her title role as Violet in Nathan Andersen’s original hit-man thriller “Violet Kiss” (2010) was among the artistic collaboration that launched the short film at Los Angeles’ Playhouse West Film Festival in which it received a great response.
Josefina moved to Los Angeles in 2009 where she continues her acting career.
