Our Story

I have spent the last 10 Years working full time as a Clinical Massage Therapist, while working part time on my jewelry & photography careers. My husband, Thano, has spent many years working in retail management, while spending nights, weekends & days off working as my Lapidary Artist/Mining Stones. We have decided now is the time to make the jump... so as of a month ago we are working FULL TIME to make our jewelry line our main source of income! This is a HUGE leap for us! We can't do it without your help!

We start our process going out into nature to open pit mining areas around the country. Most of the time these are free sites, but every once in a while we will go to a mine that charges a fee. I am also a photographer, so these trips serve a dual purpose (I sell my prints on the same Etsy shop as our jewelry). Often times we have to hike out quite a distance to gather our gemstones, usually in beautiful & secluded nature! The perfect place for a photographer! While mining our stones Thano & I are sending Reiki to the earth & the stones. Once we are home we continue to use Reiki throughout the entire process of creating our jewelry, including the lapidary process, to clear negative energy out of all our materials, while raising the vibration of all of our work. All of our Jewelry is one of a kind.

It is our DREAM to have our Jewelry Line be our main source of income!

What happens if we don't reach our campaign goal?

We will continue to move forward with our plans even if we do not meet our goal, it just may take us a lot longer & we may have to go back to part time work on our dream.

The money will go toward what it can, we may not be able to get everything on our list, but we'll get what we can.

What We Need & What You Get

We need to buy Jewelry & Lapidary equipment and supplies.

Including but not limited to: raw sterling silver, new lapidary saws/blades/ grinding wheels/ sandpaper etc., jewelry tools, flex shaft drill, drill bits, solder, torch, gasses (propane & oxygen).

We need to fund mining trips to gather stones for our jewelry.

We are looking to go back to Pala, Ca for tourmaline.

We would like to go to Oregon for sunstone. We also have many more close trips planned for petrified wood, jasper and more. 

We also need to pay for website hosting services, our website is currently being hosted for free & it has ads across the top, something we would like to change asap! erindonnellyellis.com

We are looking to do a lot of craft events this year, so we need to fund entry & jury fees, a canopy & weights, tables & display (we have one table, 2 chairs & some display, but we will need more).

We are also looking to move our studio!
