Our Story

Jeanie B! has been writing rockin' songs for kids for the past decade and is set to record her 4th CD of original songs with the help of her veteran band The Jelly Beans. Jeanie B! and The Jelly beans are all veteran musicians making their living playing music. Jeanie has dedicated her musical career to children and families with the hope of bringing learning and fun, especially fun, to them through music. You can find Rock, Blues, Country and a bit of Bluegrass in Jeanie's songs that teach and inspire families. After writing songs for adults her whole life, Jeanie has blended her adult songwriting skills with her knack for children's lyrics to create parent friendly tunes that adults love too. She has been recieved more than a dozen songwriting awards so far and airplay around the globe for these adult friendly songs disguised as children's music!  

The Impact

Jeanie B! and The Jelly beans have played hundreds of concerts in Chicago and the surrounding areas and are looking to expand their reach beyond the midwest with this new CD. Why this one? Because we're ready. We have the tools, the chops, the experience to thrill audiences everywhere. A new CD is a fresh start, new energy, fresh hope and something to brag about when selling our brand to new markets. Jeanie has really hit her stride as a songwriter and feels confident the world is ready! We are determined to fund this project one way or another, and we're ready to go full speed ahead!

What We Need & What You Get

We need to raise $10,000 to fund this project. Why? It costs money to go in a studio and record all the tracks, mix all the tracks for days after that, pay the studio rental, the sound engineer, my producer, the musicians, an artist to create the CD cover, mastering, and duplication and packaging.

That'll just get the CD made. If we'd like anyone to know about it, we'll need a few $$ for marketing as well.  Iam asking for an amount that will give us the flexibility to make the best possible recording for you and your kids.

Here's what you get for contributing! For just a $10 contribution, you can download the entire CD online when it's done. For $15 you can get an autographed copy of the CD itself, $25 will get you the new Children's CD plus a download of 9 new original "grown up" music songs from Jeanie B!. $50 gets you an autographed CD, download of adult songs, and 2 tickets to a CD release party in the Chicago area TBD. If you believe in what we're doing, please spread the word. Forward this to your friends via email and facebook twitter and any other social networking you are hooked into. Send it to your school PTO/PTA members and any school listserves,  or neighborhood associations. Tell andyone who has kids, grandkids, teaches kids or just plain old likes kids so we can have the best shot at getting this made!
