Started acting in the late seventies. Made his first film at 12 years old. Worked in front of the camera until 1990, at which point he got married, got a “real” job, and embarked on a life as a software development executive. After three successful companies and more than two dozen products, Jon realized he missed the creativity in his life. He went back to film, this time behind the camera.
It started as just an outlet, a hobby, but Jon kept learning. He wrote, he directed, he created. After dozens of short films (his and those of others) and four features (someone else’s), Jon got the ultimatum: “Make another short film and I kill you.”
Well, that was motivation enough.
