Leevon has been passionate about film making since the small age of 9, he was accepted into NYU Summer high School for film at 13 one year before he was even in high school.Leevon excelled in creative writing,editng linear and non linear video and film footage .
That following year leevon entered into one of the most wonderful high school in the country Miller Grove High. There leevon begun to enhance his skill as a video editor and director. He became the schools Executive News Director in his junior year with that leevon took the news program to new heights it became a very popular program among his peers. He also won many awards for his news program including best director.
That following summer leevon wrote directed and produced his first short film waiting to be loved a story on a teenage girl struggling to fit into society. That film landed him two awards for best short and best director at the Atlanta black Film Festival he was the youngest to ever win both awards, leevon was 17 at the time.
In his senior year of high school leevon started to intern for his then mentor Larry Steele at PDS T.V he worked as a grip, and quickly worked his way up to producing shows for the Atlanta based channel he produced Teen summit a show focusing on teens and their many troubles that they faced growing up. Leevon graduated the following year in May 2007. He Decided to attend one of nations Finest Institution New York University (NYU) to study Film production that following fall leevon landed a great opportunity to join Feral Films one of new Yorks best film studios as an editing asst. for his now mentor Kathryn Moore on the Project License to Thrive a documentary on women rights in high school and collegiate sports. After Leaving Feral in March of 2008 Leevon begun to work at Madwood Entertainment as a junior editor, he edited reality Pilot Shows which included MTVs The City, Daddys girls and many more. Leevon is grateful for his success thus far in his young career.
