Brother’s Keeper" is about a talented, bright young boy in one of Americas most condemned cities, East Oakland, California seeks out on a journey. Peter 14 ultimately sacrifices himself in order to take responsibility of becoming the man his brother has become; a well-respected gang member. At 14, finding himself at the very high- and low-point of his young adult life, he’s seeking redemption in killing others to avoid the mistakes he made with revolting against those who bully him everyday. In the end, he chooses to walk away and do the right thing by continuing his education and not becoming the person his brother is.
