Dedicated to education through aviation

I learned to fly airplanes as a teenager using money I earned from odd jobs. The lessons I learned went far beyond how to take off and land in an aircraft.<div><br></div><div>I learned lessons of respect, maturity and derring-do.<div><br></div><div>I also learned about physics, space, weather, radio navigation, safety, communication, law and more.</div></div><div><br></div><div>Clear as day I remember the first time I ever flew in an airplane all by myself. I had not yet received my learner's permit for a car and there I was - my knees knocking together as my instructor watched from the ground. The airplane felt lighter without him. I pulled on the control yolk , climbed into the sky and felt an incredible sensation of freedom and pride.</div><div><br></div><div>All kids should have an opportunity to experience what aviation has to offer. By exposing youth to aviation the world becomes a better place because our kids become smarter, more respectful and more self-assured.</div>
