LAUREN Z. ADLEMAN is a Brooklyn based theatre artist and recent graduate of NYU Tisch. She has assisted Rachel Chavkin, Elizabeth Swados, Mikhael Tara Garver and Michelle Sutherland. She is primarily a director & also a co-founder of Frisson Theatre Company. FRISSON THEATRE COMPANY creates and curates international theatrical experiences made up of frissons – a sudden strong feeling of excitement or fear – to wake audiences out of the daily drone and transport them to heightened realities.
