AKU Scientist

I studied my PhD on AKU at the University of Liverpool for three and a half years. A lot of what I discovered has been used to help gain funding for the clinical trial and gaining more funding for research into AKU. I now work at Lancaster University where I continue to work on AKU and teaching medical students. Ever since I first encountered AKU in 2007, purely by accident, I have been keen to try and understand the disease and it's processes to benefit AKU patients worldwide.
