Oceanographer and cetacean researcher.

Since I was very young my main interests were always the animals and the sea. So when I grew up I decided to mix both, so I studied Marine Sciences in order to learn more about the oceans. Ten years ago I had my first contact with the cetacean world and since then I felt fascinated by these animals. I have been involved in several conservation projects related with cetaceans, first in Costa Rica and since 7 years ago in the Azores. Understanding our oceans is essential to protect them.
