Raphaelle is a French/American documentary filmmaker and founder of Safarni Intercultural Children's Workshop. After studying filmmaking in Paris and working in production in Spain, she now resides in Cairo, Egypt (though often jumps to Latin America for film related projects). Raphaelle is passionate about intercultural exchange in all it's forms. She is inspired by social issues and quirky cultural phenomenons, as well as beauty and awkwardness in everyday life, around the world.
