Kendra Brown

I'm a visual arts teacher in an elementary school in the South Bronx. I teach K-5 and love all my students. I'm so lucky to have the power of art on my side and try to make learning fun for everyone. Last year we started a school garden and the kids love working and playing in the garden beds. There are so many things to be learned from creating a school garden. The students learn about nutrition, process, agriculture and wildlife that lives in and around the garden.
