I have always loved ideas! Big ideas. Bold ideas. Ideas that connect people.
This brought me to a long career in Advertising, ending up as the managing director of Apt - one of the leading creative agencies in Europe.
Then I met my old friend and designer Marius Andresen in K8 industrial design.
He presented me to the BELL solar lamp - and i was sold!
The versitile functions and features. The need for such a product in the developing world - and the usefulness of the same product for campers and hikers in the rest of the world. It all appealed to me in a way I have never experienced before.
Toghether we sent the project to the Common Pitch in Boulder Colorado, and in August 2011 we won the whole thing on stage in The Boulder Theatre. THANK you to all mentors and participants in the Common Pitch and the Common MBA!
To make a long story short: I quit my safe and well paid job to start BRIGHT Products. A company on a mission to turn the world on to smart, simple and sustainable power solutins. This was back in february 2012.
Since then we have travelled the world to test prototypes and seek partner for distribution and sales. And people really love it!
Privatly, I am a proud family father with a beautiful wife and 3 children from 6 to 11 years. We bring the BELL to our trips in the forest or to our cabin in the mountains, and it works beautifully here as well.
