I am a carpenter, with further training for wood engineer and computer science in business administration.
I worked long in voluntary youth work in KLJB, BDKJ and others.
And was politically active in the local council and district represented.

I am German. I am living in Latvia since 2007. I grew up as a farmer's son, and now I live on a small farm close to Kuldiga. This farm has 5.8 ha of land (grass, field, trees, wet).

I want to activate the areas of the farm again, but do it gently. An area of giant hogweed gave me the breed of the sheep Skudden.

The Skudden eat anything that is green, so the young plants of the giant also. I have expanded my Skudden idea and 2013 it will not only help to remove the giant hogweed.

Ich bin gelernter Tischler, mit Weiterbildung zum Holztechniker und Informatik-Kaufmann.
Ich habe lange ehrenamtliche Jugendarbeit bei KLJB. BDKJ und andere betrieben.
War politisch aktiv und im Gemeinderat und Kreistag vertreten.

Vor 5 Jahren bin ich nach Lettland gezogen. Ich wohne seit 2,5 Jahren auf einem kleinen Hof bei Kuldiga. Aparnieki ist Luftlinie 1,5 km vom Stadtkern von Kuldiga und hat 5,8 ha Land (Gras, Acker, Bäume, Nass). 

Ich will die Flächen des Hofes wieder aktivieren, das aber schonend tun. Eine Fläche von Riesenbärenklau brachte mich auf die Schafrasse Skudden.

Die Skudden fressen alles, was grün ist, also auch die jungen Pflanzen des Riesenbärenklaus. Ich habe meine Skudden-Idee weiter ausgebaut und 2013 sollen die nicht nur helfen den Riesenbärenklau zu entfernen.
