This is my From Here to Awesome film submission. I am an artist, actress and filmmaker struggling to survive as many do. One stance I take is to make sure I am having fun as that is my priority. Enjoy!
I put up a From Here To Awesome video for a YouTube contest to get more fans and distribution for Salome and one of their sponsors, OurStage is giving us a chance to raise $5000 for I BELIEVE by getting people to sign up for their website - which is a social networking site for fans, artists and musicians. They give us $1 for each person that signs up. Please spread the word about my campaign. Every dollar is greatly appreciated.

"I Believe" is a coming of age story about live action role players that dress up like faeries.

but i do know what makes a good movie. my brother and many other family members are aspiring film students with a bright future. i shall tell them about this site.
no hard feelings. but if you think you can raise 100,000 then go for it. i wish all film makers could receive that kind of funding. i just hope you know what to do with it.
I just think your going for such a niche film that you even the range of a cult film seems unreachable. 100,000 is a lot of money. why do you think anybody who is familiar with your past movie would decide to fund your latest project? the last one looked like it could have been made in one day; granted i haven't seen the movie but if i could watch it i gladly would right now. alas i understand that their are such things as different taste but i just don't think what you are doing is right...
and feel i have payed my dues enough to be entitled any which opinion i choice to bestow. now that being said i admire your determination but i find your methods to be completely unrealistic. i feel as if you've never seen the true essentials in film history, the movies any young director much cheerish. I am talking about The Good The Bad and the Ugly, Apocalypse Now, Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Godfather, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Next, Seventh Samurai, even Terminator 2...
ya ya. i went to your myspace and i watched all your media. i get it. i just don't think you do. your first film seems to be heavily influenced by the look of a low budget play. the subject matter seems very taboo most likely appealing to only a small small audience. film making is a serious business. while i did not choose to create movies for a profession, i am helplessly enthralled by the art, completely taken capture by it's power. i have watched more movies then most projectionist...
i don't make films. my parents are both rich so i'll always be rich. i am just looking for some real talent so i can put some of my money to good use, instead of blowing it on weed. but honestly answer the question i left earlier
I did. To recap, I said: Positive Thinking. I have many fans from the conventions that are waiting for my next film and want to see more. So the answer is Yes! and I will. I am a workaholic so I know I will make it happen much like all of my projects. You can check out my website at: www.alexiaanastasio.com
Hey are you in film school? I want to be but whats the process like?
I went to SUNY Purchase and was a New Media major. I suggest life. Watch a zillion movies and go to festivals and meet people, but just do it. Many people leave film school to go back to their dead end job. I suggest just doing it and practice, practice, practice.
Keep aspiring and best of luck. I'll need some too. Live it up.
Hey, Hope u're fine
I'm really interested about some collaboration i've really good stuff to work on it I've been in NY and i really love the city must do somethin' there.
stay in touch!
