Independent filmmaker, graduated from Bournemouth University with BA (Hons) in Film & TV Production. Lawrence was born in South Africa and raised in London, Glasgow and Germany. He was born into a family of musicians and artists and started to perform on stage from a very young age. As a child and teenager he performed in many plays, operas and musicals and he still has a strong passion for music and theatre. Since the age of 12 he has developed a great passion for film. After finishing school in Germany, he went on to do a Masters course in English, Film- and Theatre Studies. He just finished working for Genuine Buck Film in Los Angeles, making a behind-the-scene documentary for New Line Cinema’s upcoming release of “3D Journey to the centre of the earth”. For the last six years he has been working on a freelance basis for German TV where he began as a runner and worked himself up to camera and lighting assistant and nowadays camera operator. Six years ago he started his own small low budget film production company, Indievisuals. He has shot and produced various short films, documentaries and clips.
