A young addict spends an ordinary day breaking & entering to steal prescriptive painkillers. On this quest he encounters a sickly girl whose insights change his perspective on life, and the idea of happiness.
WHAT MAKES THIS PROJECT DIFFERENT
These characters are stripped of their labels (drug addict, sick person) and presented as real people. An understanding is established of who they are, what brought them together, and the possibilities of why.
I don't like to give out too much information about the story other than a 2-3 sentence synopsis, especially considering that it is a short. Rather, I would like to let the movie speak for itself.
It is to premiere at the ZGI Shorts Film Festival in May 2009, and will later be submitted to various film festivals around the U.S. and Canada.
